Most wedding venues give you four hours, a list of approved vendors, and a ballroom that looks like every other ballroom in the city.
Le Loft works differently. It’s a 4,800 square foot converted factory in Wicker Park with exposed brick, floor-to-ceiling windows, color-blocked walls, and a dance floor already built in. You get it from noon to 11 PM. You bring whoever you want to cater. You keep it until the next morning to pick up your stuff.
We’re Emily, Maggie, and Kelly, three Chicago women who’ve shaped the city’s wedding scene for 15+ years. We built this female-owned and operated space because couples kept telling us the same thing: I want something that feels like us, not a hotel. Here’s how Le Loft actually works, what’s included, and what you need to know before you book.
Wedding Guest Capacity at Le Loft Chicago
Le Loft has two sides separated by barn doors. The East Side is bright and modern. The West Side is moodier with a permanent dance floor. You can use one or both.
For a seated dinner, we fit 78 guests. For a cocktail reception, we fit 99. We provide tables, chairs, linens, and white folding chairs.
There’s also a Bridal Suite where you can get ready, and a Blue Disco Room that works as a cocktail lounge or kids’ area.
Full-Day Venue Access for Your Wicker Park Wedding
Your rental runs 12 PM to 11 PM on your wedding day. You also get next day pickup from 8 AM to 10 AM, so you’re not tearing down decorations at midnight.
That means you can arrive in the morning, get ready in the Bridal Suite, take getting ready photos, and set up your personal details without rushing. The natural light from the factory windows makes for incredible photos without needing extra lighting.
What’s Included in Your Le Loft Wedding Rental
We handle all the heavy lifting. Tables, chairs, bar setup, and altar arrangements. You don’t coordinate with a separate rental company or worry about who’s flipping the ceremony space.
The venue comes with high speed WiFi, a Sonos sound system, a projector, uplights, and a rotating disco ball. Two bathrooms and two kitchenettes are included.
If you want extra help, we offer day of coordination, florals, photography, and hair and makeup as add ons.
BYOB Wedding Venue with Open Catering Policy in Chicago
This is important: you’re not stuck with our vendors. Outside catering is allowed. BYOB is allowed. You can even bring homemade desserts if you want.
We do have a list of people we love working with. Florists like Fieldman + Flora and Pulp. Caterers like Vendador and Cooking with Cuellar. DJs like DJ Tess and Toast, and Jam. But it’s your choice.
Industrial Wedding Design That Photographs Beautifully
One thing couples tell us: Le Loft looks good in photos without needing a decorator to transform it.
The white brick walls, hardwood floors, and color blocked walls create backdrops that feel intentional. You’re not starting with a blank beige room that needs ten thousand dollars in draping to feel special. Add your florals, your candles, your personal touches, and it comes together.
Your Ceremony and Reception Happen in One Place
Most couples do the ceremony on one side, then guests move to the other side for cocktails, while we flip the space for dinner. Because we’re handling the setup, it’s seamless.
The barn doors let you reveal the reception space as a separate moment. Guests aren’t sitting in the same room watching staff rearrange chairs.
Important Details About Your Chicago Loft Wedding
Events end at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays unless we arrange otherwise ahead of time. Dogs can attend your ceremony, but need to leave before dinner service. You’ll need event insurance if you’re hosting more than 40 guests.
Parking is free street parking nearby. We’re not wheelchair accessible currently, which we know limits some couples. We’re also five minutes from I-90 and close to public transit, so out of town guests can find us easily.

Can we use our own photographer and caterer?
Yes. We have an open vendor policy. Bring whoever you want. We’ll give you our recommended vendor list, but you’re not required to use anyone on it.
What’s actually included in the rental price?
The space from noon to 11 PM, next day pickup, all furniture setup, chairs, tables, and linens for up to 70 guests, bar setup, altar setup, sound system, WiFi, projector, and uplights. Day of coordination and florals are optional add ons.
How many people can we invite?
We provide tables, chairs, and linens for up to 78 guests for formal dinner service. All furniture setup is handled by our team before you arrive. Need extra seating? Additional chairs are available upon request.
Is there parking, and is the venue accessible?
Free street parking is nearby. We recommend rideshare for larger groups. The venue is not currently wheelchair accessible.
