You’ve scrolled past enough traditional ballrooms to know that’s not your scene. If you’re drawn to exposed brick over chandeliers and you’d rather celebrate with people who actually know your coffee order, Wicker Park might be exactly where your wedding belongs.
Le Loft was built by three Chicago women with 15+ years in the city’s wedding scene and designed for couples who want something different. It’s a space that reflects how modern creatives actually celebrate: with intention, style, and the people who matter most.
Why Wicker Park Works for Modern Loft Weddings
Wicker Park isn’t just a location, it’s part of your wedding story. This neighborhood draws creative couples who want something different from traditional Chicago venues. Between the artistic energy, walkable streets, and our converted factory space, you’re celebrating in a place that actually reflects how you live and what you value.
Inside Le Loft’s Industrial Wedding Space
Our 4,800 square foot converted factory sits right on the boundary of Logan Square and Bucktown, steps from Wicker Park’s six-corners. The building’s industrial bones are still here: soaring ceilings, exposed brick, and factory windows that run floor to ceiling. We’ve kept those original details because they do the heavy lifting design-wise.
The space divides into two sides. The East Side is light and bright with natural tones, while the West Side brings warmth and moody ambiance with a large built in dance floor. Both feature the color blocked walls and organic textures inspired by Luis Barragán, the Mexico City architect known for vibrant pigments and clean lines.
You get both sides when you book with us. The flow works naturally: ceremony in one space, cocktails in another, then dinner and dancing without your guests leaving the building.
Intimate Wedding Capacity in Chicago’s Creative Hub
The space accommodates up to 99 guests for a standing cocktail reception or 78 seated for a formal dinner. When you’re planning for under 100 people, you’re surrounded by people you actually know, not filling tables with your parents’ coworkers.
We include tables, seating, and linens for up to 78 guests, and our team handles all setup so everything’s arranged before you arrive. Our team handles all the setup, so tables, chairs, and furniture are arranged before you arrive.
Full-Day Venue Access for Your Chicago Wedding
You get the venue from 12 PM to 11 PM, plus next day pickup from 8 AM to 10 AM. This isn’t a four hour rental where you’re racing against the clock.
Use the Bridal Suite for getting ready with your crew. Take a first look photos against those factory windows. Set up your ceremony, flip the space for cocktails, then move into dinner without shuttling across Chicago. The Blue Disco Room works as a separate cocktail lounge, kids area, or private dance floor, whatever your celebration needs.
When couples aren’t constantly transitioning between locations, they’re actually present for their own wedding.

The Design Flexibility You Actually Want
Our industrial bones and curated details give you a backdrop that’s both stylish and flexible. The hardwood floors and white brick walls stay visible because they’re doing the work. You layer in your personality through florals, lighting, and linens.
We’re DIY friendly if you want to bring your own vision, and we also offer add on florals and day-of coordination if you’d rather hand that off. The space has adapted to everything from moody candlelit dinners to vibrant, colorful dance celebrations. It works because we’re not dictating your aesthetic.
Vendor Freedom and BYOB Policy
Bring any caterer you love, BYOB to save on costs, and work with vendors who get your vision. You can bring any licensed caterer, and outside catering is fully permitted. BYOB is allowed, which changes your budget math significantly. Homemade appetizers and desserts are welcome too, though you’ll want to confirm any restrictions with your caterer.
We do keep a curated list of preferred vendors who know the space well. Florists like Fieldman + Flora and Pulp, caterers like Vendador and Cooking with Cuellar, and entertainment from DJ Tess or Toast and Jam. These aren’t random recommendations. They’re people who’ve worked here and understand how to maximize the venue.

What’s Included Without Upselling
Your rental includes tables, seating, and linens for up to 78 guests for formal dinner service. We provide the bar setup and altar arrangements. The venue comes with high speed WiFi, a Sonos sound system throughout, a projector, uplights, and a rotating disco ball. Two private bathrooms and two kitchenettes are part of the space.
Our team sets up all the furniture before your event. You’re not DIYing table arrangements at 10 AM on your wedding day. We also provide a seating floor map so you can visualize guest flow before you finalize your layout.
Service That Feels Personal
Le Loft is female owned and operated. Emily, Maggie, and Kelly have been in Chicago’s wedding scene for over 15 years, and we handle things with a hands on approach. You’re working directly with people who know this space inside out, not a rotating cast of coordinators.
We offer optional add ons like an on site manager for your event day, day of wedding coordination, and photography services for engagement and wedding coverage. Makeup and hair services are available on site if you want to stay in one place all day.
Planning Flow That Makes Sense
Wicker Park sits five minutes from I-90 and 15 minutes from downtown Chicago. Most guests will rideshare, and we’re close to public transit. Free street parking is available nearby, but we always recommend Uber or Lyft for larger groups.
If you’ve got out of town guests, the neighborhood around Wicker Park’s six-corners gives them somewhere interesting to explore before your evening celebration. Coffee shops, vintage boutiques, and local restaurants are all walkable from the venue.
Events must end by 12 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, though extensions are possible if you arrange them ahead of time. Dogs are welcome for your ceremony, but they just need to leave before food and drinks are served.
Who This Space Is Really For
We attract modern creatives, couples from Chicago’s Indian, Nigerian, and Hispanic communities, and anyone looking for something more personal than a hotel ballroom. If you value texture over tradition and you want your wedding to feel like a really great party with your favorite humans, this is your scene.
This venue was designed by artists, used by all. We’re proud to serve Chicago’s diverse communities and anyone who wants a space that feels personal, artistic, and unmistakably Chicago.
The space isn’t wheelchair accessible currently, so that’s something to consider if you have guests with mobility needs. Event insurance is required for gatherings of over 40 guests; it’s affordable and protects you if plans change.

FAQs
How far in advance should we book Le Loft?
Popular dates, especially weekend evenings from May through October, book six to twelve months out. If you’re planning something more spontaneous or considering a weekday or off season date, we often have availability with shorter lead times. Call us to check current openings.
Can we use any vendors we want?
Yes. We have an open vendor policy, and outside catering is fully permitted. You can bring any licensed caterer, and BYOB is allowed. We do maintain a preferred vendor list of people who know the space well, florists, caterers, photographers, and entertainment, but you’re not required to use them.
What if our guest count changes?
The space holds up to 99 of your favorite people standing or 78 seated. If your count shifts during planning, let us know as early as possible so we can adjust your table and seating arrangements. Our team handles all setup, so changes are manageable as long as we have advance notice.
Is parking available for guests?
Free street parking is available in the neighborhood, and there are no permitted spaces nearby. For larger events, we always recommend rideshare or coordinating group transportation, since parking in this area of Chicago can be limited on weekends.
